CBM Voter Guide

These are important times for the citizens of Memphis & Shelby County as we face many challenging and exciting issues that will have long-term impact on the future of our community.

Our city’s downtown is undergoing a revitalization; our suburban communities continue to grow; and our businesses, colleges and universities bring to Memphis & Shelby County a steady stream of young talent.

However our region underperforms other metro areas in Tennessee in job growth and population gain. This leaves residents questioning whether our local governments are focused on the issues that are important to our community.

For these reasons, the Coalition for a Better Memphis (CBM) is offering a series of voter guides for each municipal election – this guide focuses on the current Memphis and/or Shelby County election.

This voter guide is designed to help you make informed decisions about the candidates currently running for public office, because your vote will help determine Memphis & Shelby County’s future. Every vote counts!
